-lots of language- writing recipes, descriptions from tasting (using senses etc), shopping lists
-families in to talk about food they eat, food used for celebrations etc
-more science based work e.g food experiments, growth of plants, environment impact
In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating?
A number of my children didn't now difference between veg and fruit or where or how they grew. It was a real eye opener! it was a challenge to get them to eat the vegetables, bit we had 'challenges' &; rewards for taking sneaky bites , dunked in homemade
