This was a wonderful resource! I used it with Year ones. They were very excited to grow their own little vegetable, care for them and help them grow. The littel characters and letter box made it extra special and meant I had a lot of engagement in the learning. Our families were also engaged and supported their children's learning.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Some writing activities.
The students loved the plants and the extra activities in the kit. Unfortunately, due to us starting in term 4 we got to watch the plants grow but did not get to share any produce that came from it as everyone was on holiday. We sent plants home with the students, but very few of them managed to keep them alive long enough to get any veggies to eat.
