In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? I think understanding where food comes from and how easy it it to grow helped my students. Also understanding that you don’t have to have a giant area to grow vegetables was fantastic.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? My students were beginning to understand what vegetables looked like.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We had a potato class competition and grew swan plants when learning about insects.

Our students have learned so much from growing vegetable plants from seeds, including the different names of vegetables and the best season to grow them. The hands-on experience has allowed our students to make real-world connections and deepen their understanding of food production and sustainability. How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? They are only 5/6 so not that good.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Not a lot as I didnt run it like I wanted to because of time restrictions.

In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We have had discussions around what is good kai and looking at what we are putting in our bodies. All we hope is that they are able to learn from this.
