Amazing!!! This kit is always a winner! So engaging for all year levels and the support materials are fantastic. I have a year 2/3 class and they were hooked from the start! It has also opened up a wide variety of follow on activities and ties into our Enviro plan nicely too!

In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? TBC but all are excited to try the kai once it has grown in their gardens at home. We will replicate in a school garden during term 4 for taste tests.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? The stickers, poster and our own research into what each vege will look like 'grown up' was great. Most of these veges were new to most tamariki.
Our class loved this school kit! We have created a clubhouse, and students are noticing that some other classes in our kura are using the same kupu and have similar displays. They are beginning to think the club is growing! We'll get into code cracking during term 4, and plant more seeds for our school garden. Then will begin the taste testing. The koha of the seed packs for students was such a treasure for the children. They're heading home to their own maara kai next week, with some proud little gardeners. Thank you very much.
