Thank you for the school kit. It was a fun activity to do with the class and the children were all very excited. It would be nice if the story of the vegetable league was attached with the photo instead of having to look for it online.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Students weren't able to describe the difference between fruit and vegetables and after a few weeks they are not able to sort them in the right order but also leafy vegetables, root vegetables etc.
We loved receiving our kit and for most of the kids in my class, they have never planted seeds and watch them grow. We waited in anticipation for each seedling and watered them with care. Such a great learning experience for all.

Little Garden Kit Again this year this kit has been a huge hit, we have done research into our veggies, tried all the veggies we are growing in class and a pile of maths. Thank you so much to School Kit and New World. These veggies will be going into our community garden next week.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? This was amazing and great to see that we all have a differing perspective. We also incorporated Maori labels for our vegetables in support of our focus on Te Reo Maori.
The students loved the tasks in the box, activities to complete and learning about their plants. Each student was responsible for at least 2 plants which we have popped into our community garden!!

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? There was a good deal of interest in the different types of vegetables and some that they didn't recognise. It will be interesting to see how if they eat the vegetables when they are ready to be picked.
The children were very excited and involved in the growing of their Little Garden pots and also loved the names and information about the growing periods. It's the first thing they look at when they come into school to see how much they've grown since last night. They laughed at the names and enjoyed cracking the code.
