How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
Helpful. It triggered lots of discussions about what children grew in their gardens at home as well. The little vegetable characters were very sweet too- though a couple were regularly mixed up.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
We added learning te reo Māori names of the vegetables. It naturally lends itself to talking and learning about composting, the role of bees, healthy bodies and minds.
