How has the kit impacted you and your students feelings toward nature? Builds on many of the key concepts from Enviro Schools and our Enviro Ag programme. A wider variety of students engaged with nature and really thought about it than have in the past in class discussions.

What were the benefits of using Nature as a context for learning? They could see and clearly discuss the cross-curricula links inside and beyond the classroom - science and Social science and agriculture.

What were the benefits of using Nature as a context for learning? We associated our learning with the Dispersal of Seeds cycle and then publish our findings on Seesaw.

What were the benefits of using Nature as a context for learning? Such a great way to encourage our tamariki to take notice of the world around them and their local areas. Great link to our Enviro Schools work.

“Unfortunately from our end, this year was a very messy year (as with a lot of other things). We tried to squeeze too much into our terms and this schoolkit was one of them. We rushed through this and would've liked to have done it when we had initially planned it (Covid changed that). However we did manage to get complete many of the activities but again at a rushed pace.”
