What would you say the impact of this kit has been on your students? Some were keen to learn more, and these kits will be used again with the new NZ Histories coming into play with the revamp.
Which resources were most engaging and most useful to students? Loved the badges that was for sure- using and understanding the time lines and connecting this to the use of timelines in their English classes too.
“This kit was very interactive, our Year 9-10 used the kit and many of the students were unaware of the events in our history. Our Year 7-8 Science teacher used the kit, but felt there was so much more to do with it and would use it again in more depth. This was also the view of our Social Sciences Department.”

“Our teaching team loved the Bombs Gone. As teaching staff we learned so much, our students were totally engaged with the material. We utlised the content and wove it through our conceptual lens of citizenship. We were able to honour Te Tiriti more effectively, with the knowledge points the kit provided & added more Te Ao Maori content ourselves.”

Which resources were most engaging and most useful to students? The spotify playlists that correlate to the time period in the kit. Loved them! Images and replica and articles from the time. Badges and flag great also.
