Definitely motivated me to explore our local history. I am going to use the relevant cards, as I have a number of them and explore in depth, then take the students on an excursion to see the sites on the cards.

I think as we delve into the cards related to our local area, knowing the back stories will be hugely important. I have already linked into a community resource with an understanding of events in our area.
