How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? We will now use a similar process for exploring"Nga Ara Tipuna"for our local Central Hawkes Bay area. We have many stories carved into our waharoa and this will help us to seek more local purakau.

As a school with over 90% Maori students, this was hugely important as it gave my class an understanding that there is often more than one story (particularly a pakeha version) for a particular place or event.
