“We used the Kit to launch the Aotearoa NZ Histories Curriculum to staff initially. We had a couple of sessions where we unpacked some of the stories and then kaiako spent time planning how to use the kit fitting in with philosophy of Project Based Learning. The artefacts in the kit lend themselves well to project based learning delivery adn our tamariki enjoyed doing deep dives into the many stories. There are so many stories taht this kist can be used again and again. Thank you”

“This was a fabulous resource and tamariki were very interested and engaged in learning about history. The artifacts were a real hit and students loved looking through them and discussing which ones went with which event. Definitely pulling it out again this year to revisit!”

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? It helped when needed a place to start. It was helpful with the parts that laid out the different areas of the curriculum and broke into manageable parts.
