How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? Some of the questions students asked about different areas encouraged me as a kaiako to learn the different stories of our local area Manurewa and how other parts of Tamaki Makaurau got their names and the myths and legends behind the names.

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? As a first time and trying to entertain the new approach which was definitely different and quite a lot to get my head around in the last term was a challenge. I feel from an inquiry point of view it has lots of benefits.
