“This was an incredible, immersive experience for the class where they had many different avenues to explore. The resources were great as they varied, from online to tactile. The students had so much to look for, research and discover.”

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? I did get stuck a little with the students portal and teacher portal. I didn't think it was very user friendly.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? I will definitely inquire into the other titles to see if it is a model I will use to explore the history of my local area.

“Learning about the history of New Zealand from an inquiry perspective was beneficial for all of my students at varying levels. I didn't manage to get through any other titles but enjoyed working through Protest as it coincided with the elections. Students became even more curious about the political parties, policies and possible controversy. We will continue to work our way through other titles in the series for 2024.”

Using the kit is another resource that supports our activities and learning material

“This kit has been fabulous. It's linked in well with the planning and implementation of the Aotearoa New Zealand Histories curriculum. It's helped us have on hand resources and images. The readings have been interesting and images are awesome to engage the children.”
