How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? The ability to connect with the locate tangata whenua Ngai Tahu was very valuable as a teacher who had not grown up in this part of the country. This is a resource all teachers and students should be using on a regular basis.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? I believe it links strongly with the resources that I have made at the AST for the area and local histories

“This fantastic resource allowed my akonga and myself to connect to a range of views of history that we never would have known. How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? Has made me think a lot more about the early settlers and how they lived - businesses set, transporting things etc. I could use this model to support this learning.
