“This resource was excellent both for myself as a teacher and for my class. It gave me more insight into our new curriculum and the students really enjoyed all the tasks and finding information. It was also great to be able to do it over a long period of time. Brilliant!”

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? It definitely allows some independence while also giving a very interesting set of events and views. This has made me more confident that I can offer my kids a better opportunity to learn about interpreting information in different ways as well.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? I have always loved history but now I am very interested in exploring historical sites in New Zealand.

“I thought that the knowledge gained was absolutely awesome, however, I found that it got quite confusing running it with my class at times. For example, my students were often not able to work out the initial clue to get into the task, once they were in the resources they didnt find the questions easily. Running it the second time this year will hopefully be more successful. I also still don't fully understand how the physical resource prompt wheels work.”
