How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Children liked the images of batteries and filling up our class battery and getting ";powered up"; when it was full.

“We have a NE-Year 2 class who really needed some work on friendships and being kind and although we didn't get to use this kit to it's full extent due to the interruption of Covid Lockdown, we still used quite a lot of the resources including a number of the videos and books. Went nicely alongside our schools PB4L training. Want to use the kit again at the start of next year when settig up our classroom in Term 1.”

“This was a great resource and the Kit was very helpful. The battery charger, the poster and the Lunch time project sticker chart was very engaging. Great visuals and hands on experience for the students. The students really liked the Lunchtime project and after the second lockdown, they still remembered and were keen to follow it up. There were some great learning videos that the children watched on how they could control their emotions, and the strategies like breathing and walking away, were very helpful. It related to our Religious Education curriculum, and we integrated it to our writing and reading as well.”

Being a Catholic school, respect is already one of our values and themes constantly emphasised throughout the year. This kit really helped reinforce this theme and helped us to teach this is a different way. The scenario cards were great for discussion.
