The kit helped our students to be able to see how other might feel instead of just themselves. It helped develop empathy for others and encouraged them to play with people they wouldn't have normally played with.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Students are more aware of others feelings and how to react to them.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The charge up station was a hit! I still use it now. It's the first thing students do in the morning and they move themselves to the appropriate level throughout the day.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Respect is a huge focus at our school, this kit helped reinforced this value. Along with post lockdown, it allowed the kids to create meaningful and purposeful relationships with one and another.

My students had a deeper understanding of inclusivity and would identify students how needed a friend. They also became more confident in solving friend

They could clearly identify how others were feeling and think of ways they could be a good friend.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The discussion points on the cards were great and so easy to follow, the this, that etc cards were so fun too fantastic for outside the box thinking.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The coloured circle stickers made kids want to talk to each other rather than teacher saying you have to ;p

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The booklets with stickers were perfect and so visual for Juniors. Such a great way to spend time with a different person. The simple question scenario activity was so easy to understand for Year 2
“As a junior play based classroom I did not use the kit as fully intended. I ended up 'gifting' it on to a Year /6 class who were do 'relationship type programmes ' in their class. In future I will look more in-depth as to what the kits contain to see if we can integrate in to our play based classroom.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children now notice when someone is not feeling great and will offer to have them play with them. I also have noticed that my quieter students now have more voice and can talk about their feelings
