“This kit has been super amazing. The children loved the activities. At home, whanau talked about the discussion questions and said that there had been many interesting conversations. The playground challenge was difficult for children who mostly seemed to play with the same people. We worked on fun STEM activities in the classroom, and they had to be in a group with children that they did not play with. By doing this children started to play with different children during break time. Thank you for this kit. It was awesome.”

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? It has definitely made my students more aware of their own actions.

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Listening really was key with my class. They weren’t listening when someone asked “please stop it” or passing on a message from the teacher, the recipient didn’t respond.

“My class has really enjoyed using this kit. There was so many things to trial. We seemed to have difficulties mid term with relationships, communication issues etc. They quickly seemed to pick up that they either weren’t communicating or not listening and with modelling, began better at doing this when issues arose. Thank you”
