“The Respectful Relationships kit worked well in my classroom as 'Respect' is one of our School Values so it linked nicely to teaching this value. I really enjoyed the sticker booklets for the kids to share once they have a play with each student in the class. I have noticed all the children being inclusive.”

“We enjoyed implementing the Respectful Relationships resources into our space. We utilised the class battery, the charge up stations, initiated class discussion after reading the story, and group storytelling sessions using the picture prompt cards. We also introduced and practiced the breathing exercises and have visual reminders and instructions for these in our classroom. The students were engaged in these activities and continue to refer to the tools in the classroom. It would be useful if the resources were organised and structured as a lesson, rather than separate tools on their own as it meant we needed to spend a lot of time figuring out what the tools were and how best to use them in our space. We work in a modern learning environment so we needed to adapt the tools a lot in order for them to make sense in our space.”

“This kit came at a great time were relationships were getting a bit strained towards the middle of the year and we were having new children enter. The children loved the activities and developing their understanding of respect.”
