Was great to be able to refer back to our learning and have tamariki problem solve their own solutions when issues arose. We were able to focus more on the things we would do to show respect, as opposed to the negative elements we are trying to eliminate.
How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is?
Very relevant! We have had some very anxious tamariki return to school, and I felt this kit allowed us a lot of options in our kete to deal with that anxiety from the outset.

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid?
Tamariki developed awareness of self and others, ability to show empathy and kindness, and how our actions and mood play a big part in the classroom atmosphere, through discussions, stories (which we 'tweaked' for our class) and hands on activities. The m
