We wanted to get started much earlier in the term but with lots of kids and then teachers away (we are two classrooms working together on the kit) but needed to wait until the majority of the class were back before beginning particularly on the Playlunch

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? I definitely feel like we've made wonderful progress as a team this term and I put this down to the focus on Respectful Relationships with each other.

We have stayed connected via video (zoom) with those away from class. We've been able to celebrate together even from a distance and keep connected.

“This has been fabulous for class culture at the beginning of the year and also during this term where many tamariki have been away - when they return the playlunch project is helping them to connect with their class again. One challenge - I found it very hard to follow the order of how to do the various tasks etc. We haven't got through all of them yet and I am getting better at it, but it would be great to have a clearer roadmap in the box as the online bit can take you in different directions.”
