“The Sea Cleaner Kit really worked well with our EnviroSchools ethos. Our learning ended with a whole school visit to a local beach fora cleanup, a wild life cruise &; Wild Life Hospital presentation. A perfect way to end a term of learning!

“This fitted so well woth our Sea Week Unit and gave a 'What Now"; to our study of the sea and sea creatures. The students were throughly involved and many continued with their interest by taking their families down to the actual beach and completed a family clean up. We really appreciated and admired the effort that was made to ensure our gloves were environmentally friendly as well as paper rubbish bags for recycling. The students sent a copy of their poster and photos to the Sea Cleaner's website, as well as doing a presentation to the whole school.”

“Our year 5/6 class spent about 1 1/2 hours cleaning up streets around our schoo, breaking up into four groups. We filled 2 full bags of rubbish. Used the down the drain article in connected series to deepen understanding. Learners really got understanding that rubbish dropped on our streets ends up in our waterways. Thanks again.”

“Thanks school kit for such a great resource. My students were shocked at the amount of rubbish we collected from within our local park. It added up to 570 pieces of rubbish. The gloves were the best part of the kit and it is so great thay they are reusable, as I am defintely using this kit with my next year's class. With this kit arriving so close to the end of the year we didn't have much time to delve into the bigger environmental issues but I will defintely being going further next year when I have a bit more time. “The kit and programme itself I know is amazing for I have done it a few years back with my students, so it would totally get the 5 stars. Unfortunately, the kit arrived so late, we had pushed back our clean up day twice in the term we just ran out of time when the kit finally arrived. I have kept hold of the kit however, for I still want my new class for 2020 to learn about waste and pick a spot in our community that we could clean up.”
