In what ways did this kit impact student attitude towards environmentalism? This was awesome for our Kaitiakitanga inquiry unit where studied plastic pollution in our water ways. Unfortunately because of covid we couldn’t go down to our local beach, however we cleaned the school instead and this was awesome.

“My class of 19, Year 1 students absolutely loved using this kit alongside our sustainability / living world inquiry focus on class. We planned a trip to Aramoana, Dunedin to pick up rubbish and to also pot seedling and plant trees as part of the dune restoration project that locals and DOC are working on. The children really loved being able to sort the rubbish and then learning more about the importance of recycling.”
