Learner 1: I want to come out and clean this park everyday? Can I keep the gloves? Learner 2: I didn't realise how many plastic pieces are filling our beautiful park and waterways. I am going to tell my mum and day "No more plastic bottles".

How has this kit impacted your class culture toward whenua ora (land wellness) and sustainability?
The kit and lesson reminded them how lucky we are living in this beautiful land and how sad to see our luck is running out because our senseless environmental behaviour.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
The collective clean up action as a whole school engraved in them and promoted them to be more active to sustain our precious Aoteroa.

What was the most interesting piece of rubbish found and why?
Plastic, plastic, plastic We has a discussion why plastic rubbish are the most common. People are too lazy to walk to the rubbish bin, Some people do not care as it is not their house ( so selfish). After that event, Room 23 children's lunch boxes had a big change, less chip packets and wrappings. What a change!
