This is really fun helping to clean up and when we had swimming in Term 3, the students organised their own bags and collected rubbish to and from the pool without any prompting. We are now meeting with the local community board about the amount of rubbish on our greenways in Cromwell.

They are noticing rubbish, noticing what is in lunchboxes, reminding to take rubbish home, encouraging to use less wrappings and volunteering to pick up rubbish
