Was there a particular component that struck a chord with your class? The Self body image was a pivotal point in my class, students insisted that the media plays a huge role in society. A positive outcome for my students was to understand how important they are to their peers, whanau and trusted adults help them realise their true values.

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? As a class, we unpacked the four different self care behaviours has influenced how the students speak to each other positively. However, when I teach this topic again I would definitely advise that these behaviours be reviewed on a daily basis or an enlarged picture of it laminated to be seen every where.

“As I work with Learning support students in a secondary school it is often difficult to get resources that are at suitable levels for them to understand. The activities were easy to differenciate so all students could participate in the activities. As self esteem is a hot topic for teenagers I would recomend this School Kit.”

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? More positive comments. We didn't have a problem with language but they are more aware of other issues that may affect a child's behaviour/attitude.
