How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? At the end of the year there tends to be a real slide in how they talk to each other but this time there seemed to be more of an effort to be and stay kind.

“This was a wonderful kit to end our year with. We had just finished our relationships unit and this really boosted how we see ourselves and others. The students really engaged with it and I saw a real confidence boost in many and they made lots of connections.”

How has this the kit influenced the way in which students speak to each other? I think it's changed the way they speak to themselves. Most of the students who use it are working on improving their self esteem.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Self regulation and voicing their feelings/mood in order to problem solve.

“I’ve been using the Self Esteem Kit with my Year 5 and 6 students for two years now, and it’s been an incredible addition to our classroom. While some of the content is a bit advanced for this age group, the check-ins and the charging station have been fantastic tools. The activities not only help students reflect on their mood and attitude but also encourage them to take actionable steps to improve their mindset. Teaching them the concept of paying it forward when they’re feeling good is such a valuable life skill! Although there are elements of the kit I haven’t yet used, I’m already planning how to incorporate them into next year’s lessons. The body image resources, in particular, look amazing and seem like they’ll be incredibly impactful. Overall, this kit has been a wonderful resource, and I highly recommend it to other educators looking to build self-esteem and resilience in their students.”
