“What an awesome kit! We used it with our whole school, comprising of 34 students, year 0-8. Our year 8's were super special agents whose job it was to help the younger groups when required by gently guiding them in the correct direction. It was great to see them work so well together to solve the puzzles and save Purple Monkey. A highlight was seeing some children who usually sit back actually take leadership and guide their group to success. Some children who do not always thrive at teamwork were more willing than normal to partake and share their ideas. I think this was helped by the great setting the scene activities which helped build the excitement. The children said it was their best day ever!!!!
Completing this kit has helped us decide on our whole school topic/focus for next year which will be based around the different components of language, reading and following instructions, working together as a team to solve problems.”
