What type of project did your class undertake? Food Bank Project, Fundraising
What a fantastic resource to support students to learn to fundraise for a charity. The kit helped them to work through each step and enabled each platoon to create a successful event. Students were motivated by the bracelets and badges and gave each member of the platoon a responsibility. After giving each charity the donations, they felt really good. Reflecting on their learning, students identified lots of learning they had done to create such an event and how anyone can make a difference. I loved the team work and collaboration. Other skills learnt were cooperation, negotiation and communication.

What type of project did your class undertake? Water Based Project
This was a fun project with the kids really involved and engaged. My problem early on was finding something close to school based around the waterways, which was the children's interest. With Covid-19 restrictions, leaving school for the day was going to be a challenge. But once decided, it went really well.

We were unable to do this project justice. We run out of time, but would definitely we using it next year when we embark on our Can for Christmas project for our community as well as Greenspace as our Integrated Planning for next year ties in with it.
