What was the community impact of your volunteering project? Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of community impact as we found it quite hard to keep up with our chosen project and couldn't include the community. We had ideas and mapped out what we wanted to achieve but time was not on our side.

“We started off so well, jobs were filled, explanations &; expectations were clear and we were ready to start. Covid really hit us hard with this project and I found the students were losing interest in keeping up with it. Also, the badges were breaking and the kids were sad about this, although a student in the class made it is goal to try and fix them. I really want to have another go with this in 2021 because I feel I just didn't have the time to put 100% effort in to it and I feel terrible about that. I already have the project in mind for 2021 and I really hope I get the chance to achieve a new set of goals with the new project.”

“This SVA kit was amazing inspiration for my class. We changed it up a bit and did several projects depending on the childrens' interests.
