What type of project did your class undertake? Fundraising
One of the highlights for my students were filling in the application form. Working for it made them feel a sense of accomplishment, like they had worked to earn it. It tied in well with persuasive writing which will support our next term’s focus: Debating.

Basic resources were used in our instance as I teach Year 0-1. We enjoyed our ventures but adapted these slightly because of Lockdown. We managed to clean up our country road beside our school and plant some native trees in our newly established Outdoor classroom.

We loved it! For some reason we didn't receive our kits until Term 3 even though they were ordered for Term 4. We were able to use the kit to work alongside our existing green space volunteering efforts.

The kit was very useful in organising roles for the students and giving them ideas to generate there action plan. The action plan was to create items from recycled materials to sell at the end of school picnic in order to raise funds for a green cone composter for the school. Also have a community clean up day within our local community. Unfortunately we have not completed our plan yet due to COVID Lockdown, but we are hoping to continue on our return to school.
