“This was a great kit. Difficult to implement due to COVID restrictions. But we made the best of it. When going on walks during COVID, we noticed that our areas were really dirty. So we decided to clean up our areas individually and weigh our collections individually and then when we got together we added up our findings in Mathematics. We also decided to serve our community by arranging morning tea for our community. We have a dementia facility Kandahar Court across the road from our School. We all brought treats, wrote thank you notes to the staff. I delivered them in a non-contact way. We received a lovely thank you letter.”

What was the community impact of your volunteering project? Our original plan was to plant up a stream area near our school, however we had to change to an area of school due to not being able to have more than 50 in a bubble. Eg parent helpers etc.
