I am looking forward to using the kit with my students, however with absences with isolating and +tve cases the timing was just not doable for me this term. It will definitely be used either in Term 2 or 3.

What was the community impact of your volunteering project? This part was not as community based as we had hoped due to covid. So we based it around helping out in our kura.

The kit was really easy to use. I appreciated that everything was clear and all the resources were provided in the kit. The students enjoyed it and found things really relatable to them.

What was the community impact of your volunteering project? We didn't make an impact, due to COVID isolation procedures. We focussed on a care package designed for and by students to increase student wellbeing. We only managed to get to the design and share phase of our project.

I have loved this unit of learning. It was very specific, and relevant. I would have liked to have more of an opportunity to use the resources more fully, but due to COVID implications we had to adapt it to suit a school community environment and public health requirements.

What was the community impact of your volunteering project? We could not take it to the community because of Covid restrictions. So a lot of discussions were held within the classroom context.

Our students could not participate in the community due to covid restrictions. We used our students to help with moving the books from the resource room to the library. As we are rebuilding our school , there was a need to reorganize some of the rooms . The students have helped us in moving the books and this was our project. Due to Omicorn we had very limited number of students . But the idea of helping and volunteering was well received. My students want to participate in most activities at school.
