How has this kit help develop the resilience of your learners? Pushing through unknown vocabulary, especially when watching the video clips. We broke down the words and looked at the prefixes and where the words came from and why scientists use these. Still a lot more learning opportunities here.

“Our Year 3 Independent writers enjoyed preparing their taste cards. There were a lot of comments about the individual smells and this led into watching about how our nose operates. As most have dogs this was where the interest lay and the question was asked “do dogs smell the same smell as us when sniffing?” We are continuing to explore this topic. One child took the cards home to test their dog!”
