How has this kit help develop the resilience of your learners? It has exposed them to trying some new things and to not rely on how it looks or smells. I also insisted they had to 'give it a go'. Most students were more than likely to copy their friends which made them try more things.

What opportunities have arisen for future learning from this kit? I would continue blindfold testing and smelling memories. Students need to try something lots of times before they will have a good try at eating it. I will revisit some of the activities as new students arrive in my class.

How has the taste literacy of your students developed throughout this kit? The students enjoyed some of the activities however I have New Entrants in a low decile school so it was a bit of a challenge for them. It definitely made them more aware of their eating.
The students enjoyed the smell test with funny reactions of what each other did and didn't like. The opportunity of Smell Memories created lots of different discussions and showed the students how we relate to smells differently and there is no right or wrong answer. When trying something blindfold they had to use their sense of smell and taste instead of what it looked like. Overall the resources was well put together and created a lot of discussion in our New Entrant class. Thanks Bitelab for allowing us to explore though this resource.
