“My class loved the science behind cake making and it was great to be able to link this to our science focus. The class had had Food Tech earlier in the year, so being able to make a recipe then change it by experimenting and substituting ingredients was new to them. I loved the structure and the easy to follow process. Thank you.”

“I used this kit with a group of special Needs students who come to me for Food Technology. They loved the kit and it produced some very interesting discussions. We alternated the Veggie Kit lessons between other Food Tech recipes. I froze 4 cupcakes each time we made them and defrosted them the night before the group came. This worked really well as it gave us time to taste test, evaluated and make decisions for our different Trials. I was really impressed with the questions that the students were asking and the reasoning behind the decisions they were making. I could see that the TA's who come with the students were really impressed with the discussions too. I created my own Explore Board with the suggested resources and the students loved referring to this.”
