“My class absolutely loved this kit. We managed to get a few rounds baked before lockdown and it was fantastic to see how my students adjusted their recipes to make them better. Even the control cake was delicious, who knew you could make a cake with only 4 ingredients! The substitution knowledge learnt also came in handy at home when I ran out of eggs!! An absolutely fantastic kit that has the potential to cover a multitude of curriculum areas. Will definitely be doing this again :)”

To consider creating food with less sugar or substituting other ingredients for sugar. To discover further chemical and physical processes and how they work and react.

“Overall the concepts of the kit were great, there were a lot of resources provided. There wasn't a lot of guidance for the amount of time the unit was going to take or how long each lesson could go for. The instructions sometimes lacked clarity which made it hard to follow, lots of time was spent on deciphering what was going to play out. Clearer instructions would've been beneficial.”
