It was good being multi levelled with different strengths in the groups amongst students. Having 'math whiz' helped with some of the more mathematical activity cards, and they were able to take the lead.

We did not make enough connections, and is something we need to work on. We focused more on the science, but we had done links to Te Ao Maaori earlier in the year so being more explicit about this would be helpful.
