The good points: It has solved the condensation problems on our 180 year old metal windows. It has stopped the draughts It is more discrete than many other systems I’ve seen It is relatively cheap . As my windows are very old and out of true the fitting was quite fiddly, I had to make the frame square for the Trackglaze. The windows are just over 1 meter in height so I went with 4mm float glass rather than acrylic sheet, but I discovered that glass still has some flexibility and I found it had to be coaxed to slide home back into the vertical parts of the track. So I swapped the float glass for toughened glass which is less flexible and this solved the problem. The bad points: The glass is quite stiff to slide in the track, spraying with silicone has helped this. The kit is packaged in a way that the adhesive bristle seal comes away from its backing strip in transit, this is because it’s just looped back and forth in a polythene bag rather than wound around a reel. Subsequently the bristle seal has started to detach itself from the glass in places, even though it was thoroughly cleaned with the alcohol swabs. I may have to replace some of the seal in due course. Overall I’m happy with this product.

A fair enough kit . Has done what it said on the tin. Probably best with glass I think. On the way to completing my project. Had accident with the bristle an will likely need more. Yes I think I would recommend it but you do need to make frame for it . Their video makes it all look very easy but note they are probably using a professionally made frame .It's the frame that's the key plus accurate cutting of course.
