“Bought as a collectors items and wasn't expecting much from the scent itself but I actually really like it and will use. The bottle itself is a bit disappointing. Rather than the image being printed into the bottle it's just a sticker full of air bubbles. Definitely could have been done better.”

“I must say at the price point I was very hesitant but as a huge Shenmue fan I finally bought and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve even had a few people comment and ask what the fragrance was. Tempted to try the others now.”

“I love that this exists and as a small collector of all things Shenmue this represents a nice curio. The scent has surprising longevity but overall, I feel like this was a missed opportunity. The scent just does not smell like Ryo or even Iwao would wear it. You would not pass it out and about in Dobuita. It is just a bit too sweet. If this was called Bailu or Shenhua, then the scent would make sense thematically but I was hoping for something a bit more earthy and with a 1980's/90's profile; sharp and distinct. Instead, it feels like the scent was designed before they knew it would be branded as 'Shenmue'. I wonder if this was the case? Still, this is a good product and I would recommend it, I only wish more thought to the scent profile was given.”
