“This headset was recommended to me by the Simply Headsets team. The team provide excellent customer service, both pre- and post-purchase, so I would highly recommend getting in touch with them. The headset itself solved the original issue I was having with another headset, which was that it was hurting my ear where my glasses sit. So, if you are a fellow glasses wearer or perhaps have found other headsets too heavy on your head or face for other reasons, I would really recommend this headset. The only reason I've given it 4 instead of 5 stars is because you need to update the firmware using a micro USB cable but this doesn't come with the headset. The cable that does come with the headset is for charging only. I am also currently experiencing an issue with the specific headset I have in that it's not being recognised by my computer so I can't update the firmware at the moment but this may be related to this particular item, rather than every headset, and I am working through this with the Simply Headsets team. Lastly, a very minor issue is that I also think the multi-function button could be slightly more user-friendly but this doesn't impede use at all and I still think that overall, this is an excellent headset.”
“Simply amazing. The headset is comfortable to wear all day long and the battery lasts all day (even on those long 12-hour days). The headset is easy to set up and easy to use on a day-to-day basis and the sound quality is great. The delivery of the headset was second to none”
“I use this as "handsfree" when driving and outside working. Overall very happy with it; only disappointing annoyances to me for a premium headset are that pulling the boom down doesn't auto-answer and there's no way that I can find amount of charge left apart from approximating by deciphering blinking lights (would think there's an audio option). But sound quality in and out are good, and comfortable.”
Hi Chris,
Glad to hear you are enjoying your headset. Whilst I am not able to do anything regarding the mic not auto-answering (I am actually not aware of any headsets that do this, in most cases for newer headsets moving the mic will mute/unmute but I am not aware of any that will answer/hang up calls), I have just emailed you separately some instructions to help with the voice prompts for your battery levels.
Voice prompts can be turned on and off in these headsets and if turned off then yes, you will have to decipher the flashing lights. When turned on the voice will announce the talk time left on your device.
“Best communications headset ever for computer and telephone use, in the office or home office. Apart from being lightweight, well-fitting and wearable for hours, the noise-cancelling microphone is the component which makes this headset a winner.”
