“I used to this for the first time today. Our new rescue cat marked my curtains. Unfortunately, the directions aren't very helpful. Am I supposed to take the curtains down and wash them and then use this? Or does just spraying it on and wiping up the damp excess do the trick? Also, I used it on spots on our rug. They weren't urine spots. I don't really know what they were. Probably dog drool? But it left red stains on the carpet.”

I am so sorry to hear about your experience! I am happy to help! Our Odor Eliminator is great for removing odors, however cat urine can be difficult which is why we created our Urine Odor Destroyer. It not only removes odors but also includes our BioKore technology to quickly breakdown and lift away urine and stains. Removing the urine will make your curtains a less attractive place for your cat to remark.
To use, just spray your curtains where the cat has marked, giving a generous perimeter and saturate the back of the curtains as well. Wait 5 minutes, then remove the moisture with a cloth or paper towel and allow the area to dry naturally. A second application may be necessary for stubborn stains. Keep in mind that our products are professional strength and may discolor silk, leather, wool, natural wood surfaces or other natural materials.
