“Pleaaaase change your bottle design. It keeps getting unscrewed on its own and I accidentally dumped 1/3rd of the bottle just by picking it up.
Also, I may not notice the urine smell, but that's not why I bought this product. I bought it to help my cats stop using the floor nearish to their litter boxes and it hasn't really stopped them from doing so.”

We're sorry to hear about your experience with our Urine Odor Destroyer! This product is designed and formulated to remove cat messes and the associated odor. While pet parents can see a decrease in marking behavior due to its effectiveness, it's not formulated as a deterrent. Your veterinarian may be able to point you in the direction of a cat-friendly deterrent.
What you're describing with the trigger coming unscrewed is not typical. We were working through a component sourcing issue during the pandemic but this has since been resolved. It may take some time to reflect these changes on the retail shelf. If you'd like to continue using the Urine Odor Destroyer to remove the cat urine and live within the United States, we'd be happy to send you a replacement bottle directly from our warehouse.

“I purchased the urine and odor destroyed to try and fix them problem of male cats spraying in my carpeted basement. I had tried Natures Miracle without results and after one application of Skout's Honor I am pleased to say the smell is gone. I asked the clerk where I purchased your product and he knew nothing about it I'm glad I tried it.”
“The product itself works great but the bottle keeps detaching itself from the sprayer while I'm using it. I've wasted a lot of product from it spilling this way.”

“First, if you are reading this review, please know that I am sorry you find yourself, like me, comparison shopping for cat urine remedy products, and I hope things get better. This is not on my list of "fun ways to spend Friday night," but here we are...at the mercy of an orange tabby cat....he knows who he is.... Second, I feel like I have tried every cat urine stain and odor remover product under the sun, and Skout's Honor products, especially the cat-specific products, have worked the best for me and our household. While Skout's Honor cleansers are not enzyme-based, I feel like they work just as effectively if not better than the enzyme cleaners I have tried. And, the smell of the Skout's Honor products is pleasant unlike the strong, perfume-heavy scent of many other products that just masks the cat urine odor. I have used Skout's Honor on carpet, clothing, bedding, and a mattress, and it has not stained or bleached any surface so far. My male cat peed A LOT on a brand new comforter, and this not only removed the large stain but also the truly awful smell. I was so certain I would have to throw the comforter away or burn it and was convinced that odor would haunt me even then, but the severe mess urine and odor destroyer actually worked. “Im never going back to natures miracle. This stuff really really works. I have been fostering for 1 years and its been a challenge to find something that completely gets rid of the smell of cat urine from soft surfaces. The smell is gone almost instantaneously. The best part about it is that there is no perfume that covers up the smell, so you can tell whether or not it is actually working. Ive had as many as 14 in my house at a time and you cannot smell cat *at all*. I keep my house clean and this helped clean it to the next level. I have purchased both the gallon and the spray bottle. If you purchase the spray bottle, Id advise you to put the liquid into another bottle as the skouts honor bottle is pretty terribly constructed to where the lid constantly falls off and it leaks. Just put it in another bottle.”
