“This is not cheap but it really works. We have tried every home remedy without success. If treating cloth, be sure to soak it and LET IT DRY then wash it.”
“I am buying a gallon of this today after having bought a spray bottle size of it from Pet Supermarket on the advice of one of their clerks when looking for something to deal with really pungent odor left by roof rat that found it's way into the basement. Yeesh. I sprayed the the concrete floor and wall really well where the smell was coming from and the smell was gone just as soon as the product dried. The clerk suggested this because it was to be used on concrete and I didn't want to have to go back in and scrub or rinse or brush or vacuum. It did the trick.I've also had many geriatric cats over the years and used various products for their messes and marking issues. All of the products I'd used worked pretty well but this has worked best of any of them.At present I have a 5 year old cat who is no longer able to use the litter box regularly so besides limiting his access to most of the house, I am using pee pads and this product to clear up urine and feces that don't make it to the box.I use it on ceramic tile floor and hardwood flooring sealed with an unknown sealer. The wood floor finish is no worse for the use (but I don't let the product sit on the wood for longer than it takes to spray and wipe up) and the tile takes it like a champ. I have gone back and dry polished the wood floor to bring the shine back up as the product leaves a bit of a residue but a buff with a regular clean shammy cloth quickly takes care of that.Periodically I am cleaning both types of flooring with appropriate methods and have had no "smell-through" or resurfacing stains. After 40-ish years of multiple cats and the one episode with the roof rat visit I am happy the rat came along or I would not have known this product worked so well.”
“This stuff really works! I have had cats for the past 30 years and during that time I have occasionally had one that stops using the litter box for whatever reason. As any cat owner knows, this is the worst battle that can ensue! By the time you realize it is happening, most likely carpets are literally destroyed because NOTHING takes the smell of cat pee out of carpet! Am I right?!? Lots of products claim to and lots of products come close to masking it, but I have a very sensitive nose. My kids tell me I am am crazy, but I can walk into a room and instantly smell cat pee! Long story short...one of our beloved cats decided to stop using her litter box and start peeing on our BRAND NEW CARPET!! I immediately took to amazon to try to find some new miracle product that I wasnt aware of. I am so thankful I found Skouts Honor! I dont know where you have been all my life! I put some of the product full strength in a spray bottle and turned off the lights. Using a black light flashlight, (which I found on amazon) I was able to locate each urine spot. To my surprise, as I sprayed and saturated each spot, rubbing it in with my fingertips, the spot vanished from the black light along with the smell. The product itself had a pleasant scent. A bit strong with initial application but not a perfume scent and nothing that lingered after it was dry. My carpet is literally restored to new! No scent of cat pee whatsoever! You cannot even detect where the urine once was with a black light! This stuff is a miracle!!! And my carpet is certainly not expensive, in fact it was the cheapest option we could find, so Im not sure of what it is made of, but it is a fairly dark shade of brown and this product did not do anything to the color. Thank you for a great product that works!”
“this is the first product i've used that actually has worked and appears to last. I bought the large bottle and a spray bottle and this made a huge difference.”
