Thank you for your feedback! Some customers do describe it as having a bleach smell but this does dissipate. For those with a more sensitive sense of smell, we recommend spraying it in a well-ventilated area.

“I hope this works I appreciate that it doesnt have an over powering smell me that its clear. I made a mistake when my go to product changed their working formula Ana bought a nice smelling but bright orange product that couldnt be used in carpets or anything really without leaving an orange smell. The product I use for years that worked before a new co bought it and changed formulas had a an enzyme to make it work. Im not sure if this has the same? I really hope this works n the kitty finally stops return to the spot because its finally clean. If so Ill be back to fix a few more spots. Wish I got a bit bigger bottle for the price.”

Our cleaners are not enzyme-based but rather we use a plant-based surfactant technology that is similar to enzyme-based products. Our solution will break down and lift away new and old stains. “First off I will say that the odor destroyer was fantastic. I had to double treat as the cat urine had been on the upholstery for a while. The scent for this was light and almost nonexistent. I returned two other top rated odor removers due to the scents giving me an instant headache. Did not have that problem at all with this product.
Now onto the litter deodorizer. This product smells absolutely terrible. Like I would prefer to smell the cat urine odor than this stuff. I used it to clean my litter robot as the base had a smell that wasn't coming out with my usual cleaning products. It worked to get the urine/feces smell out AFTER the smell from the product disappeared. The smell does disappear quickly though.”

I'm happy to hear that the Litter Box Deodorizer addressed the odor but I'm so sorry that the smell caused discomfort. These products have similar formulas and so it's not something that we typically hear about. To help prevent any discomfort, it's recommended to spray these products in well-ventilated areas. “The odor eliminators do the job, but the urine spray doesnt work. Just use what I put in the title of this instead and youll see much better results. Been dealing with a pee stain from the cat in the mattress and Ive treated the spot with the spray 4 times. Didnt work, used the home remedy once and now its clean”

A little bit goes a long way. Use a towel or cloth to soak up as much excess solution as possible.
