“Skout's Honor sent this product to me to try for free, and my honest review is that you need to get it. This isn’t an every day use shampoo, but when our dog had fleas man, did it come to the rescue. It smells great and works even better. I almost couldn’t believe it. The fleas were gone instantly. It was only a minor case, but I was so happy we had it. Not to mention it smells great. Make sure to read the shampooing directions!”
“I recently bought this shampoo because I noticed fleas on my 50-pound mutt. I've used it twice now and still have plenty left. You don’t need much to get a good lather, and I’m honestly impressed by this product. I was considering another brand, but it had a more "chemical" scent, so I went with Scout's Honor instead. It has an amazing peppermint fragrance, and the scent really fills up the bathroom when you're using it. However, the scent doesn’t linger on my dog, which I actually prefer.
My dog is severely allergic to fleas, and since I can’t always afford flea medication, I’m really grateful to have found this alternative. The first time I used it, I double-washed him and let the shampoo sit for about 10 minutes. I used a flea comb afterward and noticed some dead fleas in the water. The second time, I washed him once, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then combed out the remaining fleas. After rinsing and drying him, I continued to comb out more fleas. This shampoo doesn’t kill fleas instantly—you really have to comb them out and let it sit for a while. It’s a shampoo that requires regular use, but I plan on using it in place of my regular shampoo because it’s so gentle.
I wash my dog every two weeks, and he has sensitive, flaky skin. So far, this shampoo hasn’t made his skin worse or caused any additional flaking, which is a huge relief. I’m excited to try their probiotic shampoo and conditioner line in the future, but I can’t afford it right now.
Overall, I highly recommend this shampoo for flea control and sensitive skin. It’s gentle, effective, and much safer than some of the harsher chemical options out there.”

“We are so excited about the warmer months coming but not excited about the fleas and ticks! Buoy is extra floofy so I worry about them when we are adventuring but after using this product last summer and prepping for the warmer days I dont have to worry! I absolutely love this product and how soft and shiny it makes Buoys fur after using, PLUS it will kill fleas, ticks, and repel mosquitoes. Definitely a camping and summer essential!”

“I give it 4 stars because I love this company and their carpet care products - the only solution for me as far as dog pee goes. This is the first time I've tried any of their shampoo products and compared to other flea shampoos I've tried it didn't lather that well fine as far as flea control. I usually stick with bar soaps which brings me to their packaging. I know packaging is a concern for companies and plastic dominates but there is a world trend to Break Free From Plastic and I'd love to see Skout's Honor follow. Shampoo bars are a great way to do this and I'd love to see their carpet products come in a tablet form. Also, some companies are experimenting with the returnable/refillable bottle model. It's a changing world with lots of challenges and we need to be good stewards and not take this beautiful planet for granted.”
