I bought this case to carry a 12v lithium battery weight 2.9kg on a SOT kayak. The site's case calculator was very helpful in finding the closest size and Archimedes suggested that buoyancy should be OK if the case falls off into the water. I received an email asking me to review the item, before the case arrived and given that there is no expected delivery date or indication of when it is due to arrive etc., I emailed the company and received a very prompt reply. 20 min later the parcel arrived. It does float more than adequately, appears waterproof and fits the job. The lid only opens to vertical in current design. Ideally I would like to have access to the power via a waterproof connector and I may need to modify the box in due course. The pressure relieving knob is a good feature and replacement neoprene seals appear available. Looks like a solid piece of kit if at a price.
