Little Lamb washable breast pads in my opinion are THE BEST washable breast pads I?ve ever used and I?ve tried many brands over the years of breastfeeding my three children. They are extremely slim making them discrete in your bra and under clothing.

Was recommended washable breast pads by other breastfeeding mums, mostly they are great: highly absorbant; soft and comfy; discreet. My only issues are that even after 2 or 3 washes the black pads are still leaving bits of fluff on my baby' s face; and if they get crumpled in your bra ie when feeding, they can be a faff to straighten, especially if you're in public!! Otherwise they are brilliant.

I'm sorry to leave such a negative review - I really wanted these to work for me as I did not want to create the waste of using disposable breast pads, but I must warn anyone suffering from badly cracked nipples and/or blocked ducts not to use them. Due to my baby's tongue tie (which is now sorted) I had both cracked nipples and mastisis and unfortunately I'm convinced that persisting with these eco pads exacerbated the problems: since the pads are not at all shaped or contoured to the breast they crease and then when damp they rub uncomfortably against the breast. My worst area of mastisis developed in exactly the area where the pad had been creasing and rubbing the day before. Similarly my cracked nipple was uncomfortably compressed and squashed by the pad and rubbed raw when the pad was damp.It is true that they are much softer on the skin than disposables, but they really need some shaping in order to work. I'm sure they're great if you have no breast problems, but I couldn't get comfortable until I switched to shaped disposables (horrifyingly the best ones I've found come individually plastic wrapped - arrghh - but better than painful boobs).

I like the size, slimness and absorbency of these breast pads, however I am soooo tired of having fluffy nipples (and my baby having fluff around and inside his mouth more importantly) that I have stopped using the black ones. I'm not sure if they are worse than the white ones for fluff or if it's simply because it's black I can see it. My baby is now 7 weeks old so they have been washed numerous times, loose on a high spin, they are better than they were but I've had enough! I'm really disappointed as aside from this I really love these. (Washing instructions with the pads would be very helpful).

These pads are definitely more comfortable to use then any disposable ones I have tried, however I would suggest buying the larger ones as after the second wash on 40 they shrunk a bit and are a little misshaped now, but I would still recommend it as they are very comfortable and more economical.

these are very comfortable and super absorbent too. i found the tiny label on the back can stick out and be a bit itchy so have to make sure its tucked to the back. so much more comfortable than the disposable ones.

I've had no problems with these reusable breast pads and find them more comfortable and discrete than others I've tried. They do leave a littl fluff behind if I've been leaking a lot, but that's easily removed, and I have filled a couple but overall a fantastic buy.

These are not fit for purpose. They moult so much that they are unusable. (I tried a variety of methods to get rid of the fluff, e.g. washing with baking soda and rinsing with vinegar, finally resorting to shaving the fluff off with a razor.)

I have the 13cm size and while they are good, lovely and soft and are saving me lots of money on disposable equivalents I do find they leak from time to time when I have fast let-down. They also need at least 5 washes before they stop shedding lint.
