“Five stars for the end product - the bed itself is lovely, well made and a good price - and for customer service and delivery, both of which were informative and efficient. Two stars for assembly which was a bit of a nightmare, the holes for the 60mm were far too small if using a manual screwdriver. We don't have an electric screwdriver (didn't think we'd need one) and had to make the holes bigger with a drill, breaking a couple of drill-bits in the process. We've assembled a couple of beds from another handmade wooden bed company in the past and found it much easier, I even managed one on my own. Additionally, I wish we'd ignored the instruction about positioning the bed slat supports at the top of the side panels, I would have much preferred the mattress to slot into the frame rather than sitting proud on top of the slats. After our difficulties assembling the frame however, there's no way were going to take it apart again. Having said all that, I would definitely use the company again particularly now that we're aware of potential assembly problems.”

“A beautiful bed. I chose the oak with matching under bed storage drawers and am delighted with the quality and look. Customer service was also exceptional. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and its products. I also chose a mattress from them which was delivered rolled, so so much easier to get it upstairs and onto the bed. It’s a lovely mattress and very comfortable.”

“I had a great bed and mattress before but house move determined downsizing. I used to live in NE England and wanted to support this small business. Absolutely no regrets! A lovely bed,looks great, assembled easily and the mattress beyond expectations, so comfortable and l sleep very well. Company accommodated house move date, incredibly helpful. Look no further than the WBCo!”

“...so far! Easy info and delivery yet sitting now in a building site, as we don't live in our new address yet and cannot "test" it. Major refurbishment first. Bought for its space underneath, looks and sturdiness. Rustic solid look.”

“This is an exemplary company who made and delivered exactly to specifications and schedule! They went the extra mile to meet my needs. I constructed the bed myself. It is solid, well made, very handsome with great under-bed storage. Such great value for money. Coupled with an award winning hybrid mattress I am enjoying the best sleep in years. I was so pleased I recommended it to my daughter who promptly purchased one herself and is similarly delighted.
