We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“A beautifully designed blanket. 100% cotton, soft to touch and visually pleasing. Thank you for also washing the blanket. It smelt so fragrant and made the blanket extra cosy. I bought two. One for each of my grand daughters and the quality of both was perfect.”

“Bought this for a 1st birthday, the icons were his favourite animal and his name. Everything was perfect, the quality even the smell of the freshly washed blanket. Very quick for a personalised blanket cannot fault a thing! Will recommend to others :)”

“I purchased a cot blanket as a gift and was absolutely thrilled with the final product. I wish I'd known about Thread the Word sooner - all of my family and friends would have received your blankets as baby gifts. The product arrived in regional Victoria less than one week after ordering, which is amazing for a personalised product. I loved being able to "design" the blanket myself, it was so much fun to do. The quality of this blanket is fantastic, so much better than I could have imagined. My only concern (and it was slight) is that the blanket had quite a strong "washing product" smell when I first unwrapped it, and I wondered how a newborn would react to this smell - this issue was simply resolved by airing the blanket before passing on to the recipient. Thank you Thread the Word team - I love love love your blankets and can't wait for the next baby to be born so I can order again. P.S. One of my photos does not do justice to the colour as it was in shadow, but it does show the product!”
